THE GIFT OF GOD

To all who read this book. These are poems I have written through the inspiration of the my Almighty Father, God. I hope you read them all and that they touch your heart as they have touched mine as I wrote them and read them. May God bless you in Jesus name.

"THE SUNSET"

As I'm standing there
On the warm sand,
I'm thinking to myself,
"I'm in the palm of God's hand."

I gaze at the horizon,
And what do I see?
A ball of orange and red,
Blazing right back at me.

I slowly sit down
On that wonderful warm sand.
It was so warm and soft.
I let it run through my hand.

I sat there and gazed
At the sun in the sky.
The amazing, glorious glow,
How the colors caught my eye.

The sunset, the seagulls
I saw as I scanned the scene.
I marvaled at the sight.
It was the glorious I ever seen.

The waves how majestic they looked.
As they rolled toward the shore.
The mist glows of the sunset.
For me the ocean is never a bore.

I'm meditating on the Lord,
And inhaleing the salt water.
Silently thanking Him for this glorious sight,
And granting me to be His daugther.

"IN A MANGER"

In a manger He arrived
The Son of God is alive.
He left heavenly glory,
Now we have the Christmas story.

A virgin girl bore the Son,
Knowing He's the promise one.
He is to be the Eternal King.
How the angels surely did sing.

Shepards heard the heavenly song.
To the manger they went along.
To see the chosen newborn King,
Their hearts were the gifts they did bring.

What gift will you give the Eternal King?
Give Jesus your heart, the angels will sing.
In a manger he did arrive.
The Son of God is truely alive.

"SPEAK TO ME"

Behold Father, I am here
To serve you, to do Your will.
Behold, Lord Jesus, I am here
Waiting, being quiet, being still.

Behold, I am here,
To be Your servent, Your child.
Behold, I am here.
Quiet me down, I don't want to be wild.

Behold, Lamb of God, I am here
Fill me with Your love.
Fill me with Your kindess
Let my spirit sore with You as a dove.

I am here to live Your will.
To follow You, be Your bride.
Behold, I am here to talk
And to walk along by Your side.

At Your feet I lay
Searching, waiting for Your voice,
To do, and follow You
So You'll be glad of Your choice.

Behold, I am here Father
Speak to me Your servent.
Amen

"FATHER'S WILL"

You are the branches
I am the vine.
Keep your eyes on Me
In you I'll shine.

Look for My Father's will,
Obey and join right in.
Walk in the light, as I am,
And My blood purifies you from sin.

He who belongs to God
Hears what God says.
The reasons they may not hear
They don't follow His ways.

He who obeys My teachings
Then he truely loves Me.
He will be loved by My Father
And I will show myself to thee.

You will bear much fruit
If you remain in Me.
Then My Father's will,
For this world you'll see.
Amen

"FATHER, FORGIVE THEM"

As I prayed in the garden Father,
Then walked over to My friends,
Found them asleep, as if there's no end.
All I could think was "Father, forgive them."

When Judas walked up to Me.
And kissed Me on My cheek,
I knew his betrayal, his faith weak.
My heart ached, "Father, forgive him."

When My trial came to an end
And the sentenced was death by cross
I remembered Your plan and the souls of loss,
"Oh My Father, forgive them."

When I was whipped and crowned with thorns
As I was laughed at and spit upon,
The spikes droved in my hands and the cross I was on
All I could think, "Father, forgive them."

When they gambled for my robe
And the loneliness and darkness appeared,
I know Your plan and the end drew near,
I was alone, but all I could think, "Father, forgive them!"
Amen

"DO NOT WEEP"

Do not weep or be sorrowful cause I'm not around,
Be joyful as I'm with Jesus and wearing the crown.
The crown of eternal life to me He did give.
My body is dead though my spirit does live.

No you will not see me anymore down there,
Because I'm waiting for you to arrive up here.
Remember believe in God, follow Jesus, stay away from sin.
Eternal and peaceful life you will surely win.
