What is in it for you?

* Gebhart Tavern Museum *

Take a walk back through time in this 1811 museum.  Tour through this log style building and see what a traveler's stop at a tavern would have been like.  Come visit us on Sundays in May-September from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

* Market Square Building *

Visit this historic building built in 1851 originally designed for farmers to sell their produce.  You can stroll through the galleries and view displays and photographs of Miamisburg.  The building is open on Wednesdays & Saturdays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

* Research Room *

Located in the Market Square Building, the public research room is here to provide you with research on the history of Miamisburg and Miami Township.  You can do your research on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

* Community Events *

Come and see our Fire Engine and Horse & Buggy in the Spring Fling Parade.  Then stroll over to our booth in the park and see what interesting things we have on display and for sale.  Try your hand at throwing an old-fashioned top at the top-spinning event in the Market Square in August.

* Miami Valley Show *

Tune in your television Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm or Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm to watch our very popular Historic Miamisburg:  Memories of the Star City show.  Turn your dial to Channel 10 and hear our guests share their memories.

* Monthly Meetings *

* Volunteers *

The society brings you all of these programs and events by volunteers.  We take all types, ages and skills.  If you would like to share your time and talents with some fun people, call the society office at 937 859-5000.
