An 1811 Restored Log Tavern in Miamisburg, Ohio

Dedicated May 21, 1983

The Story of the Daniel Gebhart Tavern Museum

The Daniel Gebhart Tavern Museum has been authentically furnished and is being administered by the Miamisburg Historical Society for the city.

The Tavern is open Sunday's, 2-5 p.m. from May through October. Special openings may be scheduled. We plan to be open on one SATURDAY a month, usually on holiday week-ends (e.g. Memorial Day, Alumni Week-end - a "holiday" in the 'burg) -  4th of July, Labor Day and so on).

When the tavern is open a flag hangs from the corner of the building. The flag is a copy of one that flew over Ft. Hill, Maine during the war of 1812. But because the canton rests on a white stripe it would be known as a peace flag.

The Tavern is located at

Old Main St & W Lock St, Miamisburg, OH, 45342
