                Letterhead dated Feb. 27, 1907 features factory with horses, buggies, wagons & streetcar. Also shows locomotive pulling several cars in distance at upper left corner. Printing by Walker Litho Co., Dayton, Ohio. Reads: The Kauffman Buggy Co., Builders of Finest Grades, Buggies, Phaetons, Surreys, Carriages, Road Wagons, Miamisburg, Ohio. Letter is to Messrs. John M. Hardy’s Son, Staunton, VA. Executives listed are: T.J. Kauffman, Pres.; E. Allen, Vice Pres.; J.A. Kauffman, Sec’y; H.B. Lyons, Treas.; R.B. Kauffman, Sup’t. Established 1869, Incorporated 1883. Letter states they have some of the #431 in process & the #1456 station wagon on the floors. They have just completed a second car of buggies to their Wash., D.C. agents & have an order going out for Bosher at Richmond.
